Credit rewards can really help you get the most from your credit card and your financial life in general. There are so many different rewards out there that it would need a post of encylopaedic length to go into all of them and their benefits here. This is why i’m not going to, but i will tell you a little more…

Lets just say that you travel a lot with work or on vacation (you can be one of the lucky ones!) When you fly you can pay for flights with your credit card, and if you have a credit card such as Amex that allows you to add up free airmiles with the money you spend on your card, your credit card spending actually leads to you saving money on flights. This can soon add up when you travel a lot; you simply need to get a card that gives free airmiles with every purchase you make.

Alternatively you could have a credit card that just rewards you with cash. This way you can spend your benefit on anything you want, even paying your credit card bill if you really want! However, there are credit cards out there such as the Barclaycard that have rewards systems like the one called Freedom. This reward system allows you to gain cash credit on your credit card with every purchase you make and then you can choose whether or not to redeem this credit at any future purchases you make. This is the future of credit rewards and pretty soon every card will be like this in our opinion.

Isn’t is about time you stopped paying the interest on that old credit card and get it transfered to a credit card that will do a little work for you? You bet your life it is, and while you’re about it why don’t you get 0% interest on that balance of yours for around 12-15 months? That will really give you a little room to breathe more easily won’t it?

Well the reward card of choice these days seems to be the cashback one. There are plenty of them out there to choose from, but personally i like the credit card reward scheme from Barclaycard call freedom (i think). You can get hold of a Barclaycard and transfer your balance over providing that you’ve been paying the payments and you’re not in debt (Barclaycard don’t suffer fools lightly!).

The reward scheme from Barclaycard is simple. All it doesn is add the cashback to your card so that every time you make a purchase you can see how much you’ve earned and you can choose to take it off what you’re buying there and then. This could work out pretty damn useful if you’re a bit short of money for something but you just happen to have a little bit left on your credit card to spend.

So don’t leave your balance there on that credit card building interest for no reason. Get rid of the interest for a year and get a good credit card that can give you something back for all your hard spending!

This post is a sort of continuation from the last one that offered a little advice on credit card training. This little gem of wisdom works out best if you have a family and you have a reward card that is actually worth having, like a cashback card or perhaps something that you might use…

Too many people actually have a reward card that is no good to them like an airmiles card when there is little chance of you ever leaving the country, or when you don’t even have a passport. If you have a cashback card you can really make this thing work out to your advantage.

Now you’ve probably paid your paper bill or something with your credit card it’s time to try paying something a little bigger and allow yourself a little luxury by accumulating some more points or whatever reward you have on your credit card. Remember i said not to buy anything you wouldn’t usually buy didn’t i? At least in the early days of managing your reward credit card.

Now we’ve all got to eat, and the average family spends between £100-150 each week in the supermarket or online. Well can you imagine converting those pounds into rewards? Well it’s time to start doing it now. All you need to do is put the money that you spend on your shopping to one side, or better still another bank account that you don’t use. When you get your monthly credit card statement you must pay it off immediately.

Please remember that this will only work if you only buy things that you usually buy. If you start buying a load of expensive stuff and drive up your shopping bill then you will undoubtedly be unable to pay off your balance at the end of the month and you will add interest to your credit card statement.

The new thing in the world of credit cards is credit card training. This is not a crash course in credit cards and how they work, it’s a course in how to make the most from your credit card…

This isn’t an official course that you can pay to go and listen, it’s something i’ve thought of, and it’s something you can (and should) do for free in your own home. All it is basically is thinking more about your spending and where you can gain the most rewards from your credit card.

The first thing is to make a note of which credit cards would suit you the best. If you are not a frequent flyer then any credit card that allows you to collect airmiles is pretty useless isn’t it? You would probably get more from a cashback card perhaps? If this is the case then you can transfer your balance to a card with 0% on balance transfers and gain a little extra interest free time too!

The whole point is this. You must train yourself to pay off your credit card each month. That’s right, the credit card should not be used as a money for nothing tool; simply because there is no such thing. You are best of starting from scratch on this one to be honest, and getting a new credit card with a zero balance. Then you need to train yourself to buy something with it regularly, like your shopping. Pay off the balance each month and watch as your rewards pile up but your interest doesn’t!

Don’t take things too far though. Only start with something you can pay off easily each month. Then when you have mastered this for a few months try adding something else like your paper bill or some liesure activity that you do regularly.

There’s no harm in having a little fun while you shop is there? And what’s better than knowing that your credit card spending is actually earning you rewards each time you spend some money?..

Well, to be honest, why shouldn’t we get a little back from all of our loyal spending? Our credit cards are virtually attached to our hands these days, and the world has us signing up for this and buying that like mad. It’s time the credit card companies gave something back. So if this is how you feel about your credit card then you seriously need to consider changing it for one that offers you rewards.

There are many different types of reward cards, in fact most of them offer some form of reward these days, simply because they have to in order to compete with the other credit card companies. However, for he purposes of this website, we will concentrate on the ones that offer 0% interest on balance transfers in order to make your decision to transfer to a reward card a more sensible one.

So it all depends on what you like really, you could go for airmiles, in which case you might want British Airways American Express card (although i’m not sure about the 0% on this one), or perhaps you just like cashback, in which case you might want a Goldfish card which gives you a generous £30 worth of extra reward points when you spend £100 for 3 months from the moment you open the account; they also offer 0% on balance transfers for the first 3 months so it makes it a little easier for you.

Either way, there are many to choose from, we can help you with your decision, but at the end of the day it has to be the credit card that best suits your needs.

Understanding the Basic Features of Reward Cards

Some years back then, no one has heard of the reward cards. Today, a myriad of companies have a whole new spectrum of choices. They are overflowing, so to speak! Many a times they will leave you confused. Which are you going to turn to? Which credit card company is reliable enough? Are the offers truly worth your time and effort? Are you going to get any benefit from it? These are simply some of the questions that your mind might be asking. Read on to find out how you can grab the best deals by simply understanding the features that come along.

Credit card hunting is no longer a daunting task these days. In fact, the companies that offer them provide really fantastic and interest-piquing packages. Just so to attract you to be one of their clients, they will pull up front the most peculiar features that they can think of. Among of them are the rewards plus the low interest fees. As it goes, those who have the reputably worthy credit cards have greater opportunities to be awarded with the 0% APR reward cards. More often than not the introductory period of the card is usually highlighted with graces for freebies.

Choosing the Reward Credit Cards

When aiming for a good reward card, you should pick one that truly fits your personal lifestyle. The credit card industry has gotten over competitive so don’t limit your own choices. There are numerous companies out there and all you need to do is to take time to pull some little researching prowess. To help you out, you may check online. You will then be taken into the long list of companies that provide credit cards. The most imprtant thing to keep in mind is to get one that fits into your financial standing and the lifestyle that you lead.

What to Expect out of Reward Cards

There are various rewards that you can get. Some of the popular ones are included below.

The frequent flyer card. This proves to be advantageous for those people who often travel. With this scheme, you get a point for every spent dollar. Thereafter, the earned miles or the so-called points may be converted into freebies such as rentals, accommodation in hotels, and even in the cruises that you attend to. You will also be entitled to receive discounts during your personal travels or business trips.

The cash-back feature. This normally takes place when you are the person who pays in full all of your bills on a monthly basis. Such reward cards often provide you with as much as 5% cash-back rewards annually.

Gas purchase discount. Some reward cards let you get some discount as you have your car gassed up.

Overall, the reward cards can help you out when it comes to boosting your savings. This may be really enticing but you have to exercise an utmost caution when choosing your credit card provider. Hence, help and save yourself from further worries.
